Yarranabbee Boat Hire Sydney — 55ft Motor Yacht for up to 49 Guests
Yarranabbee is a 55-foot power vessel for charter on Sydney Harbour, carrying up to 49 guests — and one of the more genuinely elegant boats on the water. She has just been repowered with brand-new twin Volvo Penta engines, which matters more than it sounds: the cruising is quieter and smoother, so conversation actually works at speed. Inside she is finished in polished timber with plush cabins, cushioned seating throughout, a spacious indoor lounge and an elegant dining deck, with formal dining set on crystal glassware. The layout gives you a real indoor room for a seated meal and an outdoor deck for the harbour itself, with panoramic views across the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. For a corporate group, a milestone celebration or a luxury sightseeing cruise where guests should be able to hear each other, she is a very different proposition to a party boat. Yarranabbee is priced by charter length rather than by the hour, from $3,120 for three hours up to $7,300 for a full eight-hour day, with flexible boarding options across Sydney Harbour.
Frequently asked questions
How many guests can Yarranabbee carry?
Yarranabbee carries up to 49 guests cocktail style. At 55 feet she has a spacious indoor lounge as well as an elegant outdoor dining deck, so a group can move between a seated meal inside and the harbour views outside without anyone feeling squeezed.

Yarranabbee is priced by charter length rather than by the hour: $3,120 for three hours, $3,840 for four, $4,800 for five, $5,760 for six, $6,600 for seven and $7,300 for a full eight-hour day. The minimum charter is three hours. Longer charters work out better value per hour. Wharf fees, public holidays and New Year's Eve are quoted separately — ask us and we will confirm.

What makes Yarranabbee different from a party boat?
Yarranabbee is built for elegance rather than volume. There is no dance floor or DJ booth; instead you get polished timber finishes, plush cabins, cushioned seating throughout, a spacious indoor lounge and formal dining with crystal glassware. She has just been repowered with brand-new twin Volvo Penta engines, so she runs quietly and smoothly — which matters when guests are talking or someone is making a speech.
Are wait staff included on Yarranabbee?
Wait staff are optional and charged by group size: $90 per hour for up to 10 guests, $180 per hour for 11 to 20 guests, and $270 per hour for 21 to 49 guests. So a 30-guest four-hour charter would add $1,080 for full service. Tell us the style of service you want and we will price it in.
What events is Yarranabbee suitable for?
Yarranabbee suits corporate functions and client entertainment, milestone birthdays, engagements and weddings, anniversaries, and luxury sightseeing cruises — occasions where guests need to hear each other and the boat is meant to impress quietly. Inspections are available by appointment if you would like to see her before booking.
How long can we charter Yarranabbee for?
Charters run from three hours up to eight hours. Two-hour charters are not available. If you need longer than eight hours, contact us and we will arrange it directly with the operator.
