• Book 4-6 weeks ahead for weekend dates in peak season (October-March). Summer Saturdays go fast.
• Get a firm headcount early. Bucks groups are notorious for last-minute drop-outs. Lock in numbers 2 weeks before and choose a boat that still works if you lose a few.
• Appoint one organiser. Collecting money from 20 mates is herding cats. Use a group payment tool or have one person collect and pay.

What about responsible service of alcohol?

Crew on licensed boats are RSA-trained and will manage alcohol service responsibly. On BYO boats, the group is responsible for sensible drinking. The skipper has authority to cut off service if needed — it’s rare, but it’s the law.

Can we combine a bucks and hens party?

Yes. Either hire a large boat with multiple decks (groups can separate and merge), or hire two boats and cruise alongside each other. We arrange combined events regularly.
