For two, or for the whole family. Private boat, sunset timing, real food. From $300/hr, 2-hour minimum.
An anniversary on Sydney Harbour solves the same problem every year — a restaurant booking that ends at 10pm, somewhere you’ve been before, and the same waiter cleared your plate too early. A private boat means a 2-3 hour sunset window that’s only yours, with the meal you actually want and a view that doesn’t repeat.
From a $300/hr 2-hour BYO sunset cruise for two on a sailing yacht, to a $1,200/hr 4-hour plated chef-catered family anniversary on a luxury motoryacht for 20 — Boatique books the full Sydney Harbour fleet. Quotes back in under an hour.
Anniversaries split two ways: intimate (just the two of you, sometimes with a celebrant or photographer) and family (20-40 guests for a milestone like 25th or 50th). We match boats to which one you’re doing — sailing yacht for two, motoryacht for the family event.
Send your date and guest count — we’ll shortlist 3 boats with reasons.

Most anniversary cruises start 60 minutes before sunset. The boat is the venue, the harbour is the wallpaper, and dinner is timed to roll through golden hour.
Most boats allow BYO drinks. Bring the Champagne from your wedding day or the bottle from the year you met.
We can coordinate a celebrant for vow renewals (great for 25ths, 50ths) or just keep it quiet for the two of you. Some captains will get out of the way for an unobtrusive proposal-style toast.
Open decks, golden light, a Bridge backdrop. Bring a photographer for milestone anniversaries — the photos go on the wall.
A just-the-two-of-you 2-hour BYO sunset on a sailing catamaran usually lands around $650–900 all-in. A family 25th or 50th anniversary for 20 guests with plated catering usually lands around $4,500–6,500 all-in.

Plated 3-course or canapé service for a milestone (25th, 50th) with the whole family. Function vessel with AV for speeches.

2-hour BYO Champagne sunset, captain hung back, brought their own wedding playlist on Bluetooth.
Plated 3-course dinner with sommelier, vow renewal mid-cruise with a celebrant.
Couple plus best friends, hidden Champagne, photographer onboard. Same format as the original proposal cruise.
Family dinner with grandkids on the upper deck, plated meal, slideshow on the AV system mid-cruise.

Make it an occasion: a sunset sail for two, a Valentine’s Day cruise, or renew the moment where it started with an engagement-style celebration.
Time it backwards from sunset (varies by season). We recommend boarding 60-90 minutes before sunset so you’re on the water for the build-up, the golden hour, and the lights coming on.
Yes — most popular anniversary format. Boat hired privately, just you and the crew. Crew typically stay forward and let you have the back deck or saloon.
Yes on almost every boat. Bring Champagne, your wedding wine, whatever the bottle is. Crew handles ice and glassware.
Yes — we have a list of celebrants who regularly work on Sydney Harbour boats. They typically do a 15-20 minute ceremony mid-cruise. Tell us in the enquiry.
Yes — many anniversary couples bring a photographer for milestone anniversaries (10th, 25th, 50th). We can recommend photographers who specialise in on-water shoots.
Yes — captains regularly cruise past wedding venues, proposal locations, or the spot you first met. Tell us in the enquiry and we’ll brief the captain.
Most motoryachts have enclosed climate-controlled saloons. A wet-weather anniversary still works — the harbour at dusk in light rain is its own kind of beautiful. Each operator has a wet-weather policy in the quote.
Pickup wharves vary by boat. Rose Bay and King Street Wharf are the most common — central, easy parking. Most boats can reposition to any major harbour wharf with a small repositioning fee.
