100+ guest events on Sydney Harbour are corporate Christmas parties, end-of-year galas, milestone weddings, product launches, and major school formals. Above 100 guests, only the biggest function vessels and superyachts apply. We have a smaller shortlist, but each has done your event format before.

Canapé service breaks down above 80 guests. 100+ events need a proper buffet line or plated dining.

AV with wireless mics, stage area, lighting, DJ space, projector + screen. Most 100+ events have a coordinator on site.

Pricing depends on guest count, catering complexity, and which boat. The honest pricing answer: a 4-hour 120-guest corporate Christmas cruise with buffet dinner and BYO drinks usually lands around $18,000-25,000 all-in (~$170pp). For 200+ guest events with full chef on board: $35,000-50,000 (~$200pp).

Can we have a band, DJ + stage?
Yes — most 100+ event vessels have a proper stage area, full AV, lighting rig. We can recommend production teams who regularly work the harbour.
What’s the per-head cost at 120-200 guests?
Buffet dinner cruises: ~$150-200pp all-in. Plated dinner cruises with full chef + sommelier: ~$200-280pp.
How far in advance should we book?
Christmas season (Nov-Dec): 3-4 months ahead. Spring weddings: 4-6 months ahead. Off-peak corporate events: 6-8 weeks is fine.
Can we have a coordinator on site?
Yes — most 100+ events have a coordinator from the event vessel or from Boatique on site managing setup, timing, and the run-of-show.
Where do 100+ guest cruises depart from?
King Street Wharf and Pyrmont (Cockle Bay) handle the biggest vessels. Some event vessels can pickup from Rose Bay or Walsh Bay depending on size.
Can we BYO drinks at 100+ guests?
Most boats allow BYO drinks. A handful of large function vessels have a paid bar service (catering-required) — we flag those at quote time.
What if our guest count changes inside 14 days?
Most large-event operators are firm inside 14 days because catering and crew are scheduled. ±5% variation usually fine. Bigger changes may incur a fee.
